You need these wires if you own an Imperial quilting frame, purchased the optional 3' or 8' setup, AND own a QBOT. These wires are for the back (X) drive as it needs to travel back and forth on this wire.
The standard lengths of wire which come in the QBOT box (5 and 10 foot lengths) are not adaptable to the optional 3 or 8 foot set-up. Purchasing these wires will ensure smooth traveling of the drive while quilting with the QBOT.~
